I bake every cake on this website myself. Not a team, not a factory, not a picture borrowed from the internet. If you have seen it here, it came out of my kitchen and went to someone's party.
Made to order means made to order
Nothing is sitting in a freezer waiting for a buyer. When you confirm a cake, I buy for it, bake for it and decorate it for your date. That is why I ask for 2–3 days and why I will tell you honestly when a date is already full rather than take the order and rush it.
Why every cake has a code
Describing a cake over text is hard. "Something pink with a unicorn" covers about forty of mine. So every
design in the gallery carries a code — CS-0042 and the like. Copy it, send it, and we both know
exactly which cake we are talking about. You can send several and we will work out the mix.
What I am good at
Character and theme cakes for children, elegant single-tiers for adults who do not want a spectacle, and the awkward briefs — the half-way-to-one, the farewell for someone leaving the country, the cake that has to say something in three languages. Those are the fun ones.
What I will tell you honestly
If a design will not hold in the heat, if your date is too tight, or if the budget will not reach the brief, I will say so before you pay anything. A disappointing cake helps neither of us.
